MASTER LIMITED PARTNERSHIP - MLP
A limited partnership that combines tax benefits of a limited partnership and liquidity of publicly-traded securities. The are two types of partners in the said partnership: Limited partner pertains to an individual or group that allocated the capital to MLP and receives income distributions from its cash flow periodically; and the general partner who is responsible for managing its affairs and receives compensation, in relation to the venture’s performance.
