MASTER NOTES
A high-quality but short-term debt instruments issued by the Federal Farm Credit Bank (FFCB) that has a face value of at least $25 million. Usually matures in one year, interests are paid to London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) or other appropriate index. These debt instruments are typically used by money managers who take highly liquid and customizable investments because of the high value of every master note.
