MCGINLEY DYNAMIC INDICATOR
A technical indicator that aims to analyze the stock trend. Formulated by John R. McGinley in 1990, it attempts to correct a problem that is built-in in moving averages by using fixed time lengths. This problem causes the moving averages to overshoot in fast markets.
