MEGA DEAL
Refers to a business deal that involves a great deal of money. Mergers and acquisitions that entail significant amounts of money are cases of mega deals that happen oftentimes in the business industry. Although much merger activity occur on a regular basis, mega deals involve well known and established companies.
The term came from the Greek word megas, meaning great.
