MICROFINANCE
A division of banking service that empowers unemployed or low-income individuals or groups by offering financial services such as saving and/or borrowing money and insurance in order for them to become self-sufficient and creditworthy. The loans provided to these individuals are normally small, but may be sufficient to bring them into a higher class.
