MIL
The main securities market located in Milan, Italy. The exchange originated in 1808 upon the establishment of Borsa di Commercio, commodities exchange. The first firm share was listed in 1859. Banking and railway companies was included in the exchange in 1870s. Electronic trading was fully operational in 1994 and privatized in 1998.
