MONEY MARKET FUND
An investment that aims to generate interest for shareholders while maintaining a net asset value (NAV) of $1 per share. It is composed of short-term securities with high-quality, liquid debt, and monetary instruments. Investors can acquire shares of money market funds via banks and brokerage firms.
