MORTGAGE RATE LOCK FLOAT DOWN
A mortgage rate lock with the option to cut down the locked interest rate of market interest rates decline during the process of mortgage application. It can provide the borrower with security against a rise during the rate lock period. But this option lets the borrower to take advantage of a drop in interest rates during lock period.
