MORTGAGE-BACKED NOTE
A promissory note connected to a particular mortgage loan. It represent the legal pledge to repay a mortgage loan. These notes indicate the terms of the loan, including the amount of interest and principal the borrower must repay. They also require the borrower to settle the payments.
