MULTIJURISDICTIONAL DISCLOSURE SYSTEM - MJDS
A disclosure system which allows qualified cross-border securities offerings to be administered by the disclosure requirements of the issuer's host country. It decreases the costly of replicating disclosure requirements and regulatory filings that occurs when issuers register securities offerings in foreign places.
Also called Canada-US multijurisdictional disclosure system.
