MUNICIPAL CONVERTIBLE
A zero-coupon municipal bond that is sold at a huge discount from its face value and can be changed into an interest-bearing bond under some occurrences. The bondholder need not to fret about paying the tax on the appreciation, which is the same with not settling the tax on the interest of a traditional municipal bond.
