MUNICIPAL SECURITIES RULEMAKING BOARD - MSRB
A board that protects investors, municipal entities, and public interest by creating investing rules and policies in order to avoid false and manipulation in releasing and trading municipal bonds by states, cities, and counties. It also cultivates market transparency. Created under the Securities Acts Amendments of 1975, it regulates underwriting, trading, and selling the municipal securities in financing public projects.
