MUTUAL FUND
An open-ended investment vehicle that is comprised of a large pool of fund collected from several investors in order to invest it in securities such as stocks, bonds, money market instruments, and the like. Operated by a portfolio manager, he or she invests the fund’s capital and aim to produce capital gains and earnings for the fund’s investors. This is structured and kept in accordance with the investment objectives stated in its prospectus.
