NARROW MONEY
It is a measure being used by many central banks that comprise only currency in the flow and the very near money instruments. Narrow money includes all physical currency and deposits in checking accounts as well as Negotiable Orders Withdrawal accounts in the Federal Reserve System. In the United States narrow money is classified as M1 (M0 + demand accounts), while in the U.K. M0 is referenced as narrow money.
