NATIONAL HOUSING ACT
Its objective is to make credit more obtainable to creditors for home construction and repairs, and to create a better housing available to low and moderate income families. This act also led to the 1937 creation of Fannie Mae, a nationwide mortgage association that offers a secondary mortgage market and improves further the availability of loan money.
