NMFTA
Nonprofit membership organization comprised of interstate, intrastate, and foreign motor carriers. Since 1956, the Virginia-based organization has been representing the interests of the motor carrier industry, particularly less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers. It also helps in setting industry standards in commodity packaging and transport, which are used in contract negotiations. It also assist parties shipping goods understand the way these should be delivered.
