NET PRESENT VALUE OF GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES - NPVGO
NPVGO is basically the present value of additional cash flows associated with an acquisition, net of the purchase price of the acquisition. The concept adds the assets’ present value in place to the present value of growth prospects of the company. The required rate is usually the weighted average cost of capital of the acquirer.
