ONE-TIME ITEM
One-time item is found in a company’s income statement which is non-recurring in nature. Analysts and investors do not include one-time items while evaluating a company to get an actual gauge of its performance. One-time items typically have a negative impact on operating earnings, but may sometimes have a positive impact as well.
