PALE RECESSION
This phrase was used by the former Board Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan in May 2008. This was used to describe an economic environment where recession hasn’t yet hit all the areas of the economy. Greenspan was speaking particularly of the United States number of employment at the time, which had not seen yet as important decline as would be expected.
