THIRD-PARTY VERIFICATION - TPV
Process in which an independent organization evaluates the client’s information to ensure its accuracy and intent. This is often used in transactions through phone or done online to validate the interest of a potential client before passing the customer on to a salesperson. It also used in instances in which a client seeks to provide or update details but cannot do so because it is being processed over the internet or phone.
