PONZI SCHEME
An investment scam which promised high rates of return with only little risks to investors. The Ponzi scheme generates returns for older investors by getting new investors. This scam in fact yields the promised returns to previous investors, as long as there are more new investors. These schemes usually collapse on themselves when the new investments stop.
