QUARTER ON QUARTER - QOQ
This measuring technique is used to calculate the changes between the one present financial quarter and the previous financial quarter. For example, the Q1 of 2005 will be compared to the Q1 of 2004. This method is used to give the analysts and investors an idea how the company grows each quarter.
