REACTION
A reverse movement of the price of a security. Reaction is usually associated with a downward movement in the security’s price after an upward movement, as investors sell off shares or reduce the buy orders volume as they fear that the security is being overvalued. Reactions may lead to either a slight increase or decrease in price, instead of a large change in value.
