RETURN ON GROSS INVESTED CAPITAL - ROGIC
It refers to a measure of the yield of a company on all capital invested, such as common stocks, preferred stocks, and bonds. ROGIC is necessary when measuring the investment yield of a company because it does not take into consideration depreciation or amortization of stocks, ensuring a more accurate representation of the figures.
