SCRIP
Scrip has multiple definitions. The first is that it is a written document or account used for the purpose of acknowledging debt. The second definition of scrip is that it is a provisional document that will represent a fraction of a share or a whole share that resulted from a split or spin-off. The third and last definition of scrip is that it is an issued currency from a private corporation.
