SEC FORM 18
SEC Form 18 is also referred to as the Application for Registration of Foreign Governments and Political Subdivisions. This means that SEC Form 18 is a filing required for foreign governments that want to issue a new security that will be available for sale in the US under the Securities and Exchange Commission. The data gathered from the foreign issuer under SEC Form 18 are the branch of government that will issue the security, the kind of security, and the total amount of security to be issued.
