SEC Form 26 is a notification submitted a national securities exchange to the Securities and Exchange Commission. SEC Form 26 notifies SEC of the admission into trading of a substituted or additional class of security. This requirement falls under the Rule 12a-5 of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934. The data gathered by SEC Form 26 includes the date of admission for trading of the security both ‘when-issued’ and in the standard way.
