SEC Form N-8B-2 is also referred to as the Registration Statement of Unit Investment Trusts Which Are Currently Issuing Securities. this means that SEC Form N-8B-2 is a filing to be submitted by unit investment trusts under the Securities and ExchangeCommission. The investment unit trusts must exclude separate accounts that are issuing securities currently and which should include issuers of periodic payment plan certificates and a management investment company is the sponsor or depositor kinds of unit investment trusts.
