Securities Fraud is a crime that is classified as white-collar. Securities Fraud occurs when an entity that may be an individual or a company like brokerage firms, corporation or investment banks, and stockbrokers, present incorrect information utilized by investors in making their trading decisions along with insider trading. Misrepresentation of information includes the provision of fraudulent information, suppression of key information, administration of ill advice, and actions based on insider information.
