SELL SIDE
Sell Side is a component of the financial industry that concerns itself with creating, analyzing, promoting sale securities. Sell side entities that may an individual or a group work for the creation and service of stock products that will be available to the buy side. The sell side in a typical market consists of the investment bankers, the analysts, and the market makers. The investment banks serve as the bridge between issuers of securities. The analysts are the ones who do the research on stocks and present them in the market as rating, etc. The market makers are the ones who are in charge in the provision of liquidity in the market.
