SERIES HH BOND
Series HH Bond is a US government savings bond that is non-marketable and has a life of 20 years. Series HH bonds pays semi-annual interest dependent on a coupon rate that is locked in at a specified rate for the first half of the 20 years. After this, the US Treasury resets the remaining life of the bond. Series HH bonds’ interest are exempted from state and local taxes. It is not exempt from federal taxes.
