SEVERANCE PACKAGE
Severance Package is a bundle of pays and benefits. It is typically given to an employee that has been recently laid off. The severance package is only available for employees who have signed the severance agreement. the value of the severance package is typically based on the length of tenure. It is possible that the severance package may consist of unused vacation, sick days, unreimbursed business expenses, life insurance, and use of company property such as laptop and vehicle. Sometimes, outplacement assistance is also offered.
