SHARE-DRAFT ACCOUNT
Share-Draft Account is an account that enables credit-union members to access the shared balance through the writing of drafts on their accounts. It was established under the jurisdiction of the Consumer Checking Account Equity Act of 1980. Unlimited number of checks are allowed in share-draft accounts as it is secured by federal insurance with the earned interests compounded quarterly.
