SHORTFALL
Shortfall is when the amount of cash is not enough to pay a financial obligation or liability. Shortfalls may be temporary or long-term that may be caused by circumstance or financial recklessness. Either way, companies move quick to remedy it with equity injections or short-term loans for the problem not to get bigger.
