SHOTGUN WEDDING
A shotgun wedding is the forced merging between two companies or two jurisdictions. These companies, typically are opposed in the merger. This is done for the good of the majority. For example, the government may impose a shotgun wedding on two companies to prevent a shock to the economy. it may also be done with cities and countries to prevent bankruptcy.
