SIN STOCK
Sin stock is also referred to as ‘sinful stocks’. They are the stocks of a company that is associated directly or indirectly with immoral or unethical activities and events. Typically, sin stocks are found in the sectors of the economy that don’t bode so well with the general public due to their immorality as they are perceived to be exploiting human weakness. Sectors that might be classified with sin stocks are companies that have primary businesses in tobacco, gambling, alcohol, weapons manufacturing, military, and sexual industries.
