SINGLE-DIGIT MIDGET
A single-digit midget is a stock whose price is lower than $10 per share. It is usually a buzz word that describe the stocks of a company that have experienced a steep price drop so as not to confuse it from the many stocks of companies that are traded below $10. This term was most well-known in the early 21st century when stocks prices of ‘dot-coms’ declined.
