SOVEREIGN CREDIT RATING
Sovereign credit rating is the credit rating a sovereign entity. It provides insights on what the risks may be associated in investing in a particular country. A sovereign credit rating may be conducted upon the request of the country to gauge the economic growth and political risks. The rating will be a representative of the country and will be the one attracting investors. Sovereign credit rating also serves as a credibility for developing countries to be able to transact with international bond markets.
