SPECIAL NEEDS TRUST
Special needs trust is also known as the ‘supplemental needs trust’. The special needs trust is a trust that enables a mentally-challenged, physically-disabled, or chronically-ill individual to receive income while still having the eligibility for public assistance disability benefits that may come from the Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid, and Supplemental Security Income.
