SIFT
Specified Investment Flow-Through Trust (SIFT) is a kind of income trust for Canadians. It holds publicly traded investments with a non-portfolio property common in Canada as a business structure. The original purpose of SIFT trusts is to give tax advantages for non-commercial investments however, it is now used commonly by commercial businesses.
