STAR

A Star in the finance field may be defined in two ways. First, it is a candlestick formation type that occurs when a small-bodied candle is located higher than the preceding candle in the price range. This happens as a result of a gap in the underlying assets price. Second, it is one of the four quadrants or categories of the BCG growth-share matrix. The star is the division that has a big market share in an industry characterized by rapid expansion.
