STATIC GAP
Static Gap is the measure of sensitivity to interest rates. To compute static gap, you get the discrepancy between the assets and liabilities of comparable repricing periods for the long-term or short-term. Results that are negative or have the minus sign means increased liability and therefore higher exposure to hiking rates.
