Score assigned to firms in Morningstar’s fund and stock reports assessing the quality of a firm’s governance policies. It rates both funds and stocks range from ‘A’ to ‘F’ based on criteria gauging the effectiveness of funds and corporate managers in upholding their shareholders’ best interests.
