Network of suppliers, retailers, manufacturers, distributors, storage facilities, and transporters engaged in transactions. Supply chain encompasses the process of producing, handling, and distributing a specific product in order to deliver a product or service from the supplier to the consumer. This is a crucial process for many companies. These companies endeavor to maximize the supply chain to lower their expenditures. The term logistics is different from supply chain because the former pertains to the distribution process in a firm.
