TEMPORARY LENDER
Mortgage lender selling the loans it originates into the secondary market after closing. These lenders are given few options in selling loans. Security dealers may be willing to acquire the loans to consolidate the assets for reselling to investors. Other lenders may purchase the debt and include it in their portfolios. Or, the lender may also sell the loans into its own trust, as part of the securitization process.
