American economic policy maker and central banker who served as the 75th US Secretary of the Treasury from 2009 to 2013 under the administration of President Barack Obama. Prior to that, he was the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. As of today, he is the President of Warburg Pincus, a private equity investing firm.
