TRADE FINANCE
Process of financing an international trade including lending, giving letters of credit, export credit, insurance, and factoring. Certain entities engaged in trade finance are importers, exporters, banks, institutions, insurers, and export credit agencies. The World Trade Organization estimates around 80% to 90% of global trade depends on this financing method.
