TRANSFER OF MORTGAGE
Deal in which the borrower or lender designates an existing mortgage from the current holder to another individual or entity. For instance, a homeowner who fails to fulfill their mortgage payments may seek transfer of mortgage to avoid the risk of default and foreclosure. However, all mortgages are qualified for transfer.
