TRANSLATION EXPOSURE
Risk of loss that might emerge due to changes in the value of a firm’s assets, equities, income, or liabilities because of exchange rate movements. It appears when a company denominates some part of these assets and liabilities in a foreign currency. Also called accounting exposure.
