TRAVEL INSURANCE
Insurance product intended to shoulder the expenses and minimize the risk relative to sudden events during local or international travel. Normally, the insurance covers the insured in expenditures associated with trip cancellations, medical costs, and other related expenses. Many online companies who sell airplane tickets or travel packages allow consumers to obtain travel insurance as an add-on service. In some cases, the insurance may also cover damage to rented equipment including rental cars or paying a ransom in the event of kidnapping.
